KNOWING WHO YOU ARE.

In the quest to becoming successful and fulfilling your dreams in life, knowing who you are is really the first cogent step to attend to.

Thou it could be a very difficult task owing to some series of distractions that might pose threats to this regard.

Some of the basic threats to knowing who you are can be the kind of location you find yourself, the kind of peer group you associate with, and the kind of upbringing you had or have as a growing child.

So, your ability to prevent these threats from influencing your aim to knowing who you are lies to the fact that;

v You have to be confident in yourself.

v You have to be independent minded i.e. you should be able to make decisions on your own.

v You have to really make close observations about the activities you indulge in the most that gives you positive results. Through this, you would be able to really know what you are good at and that would influence your decision making.

v You have to be able to distinguish between the good and the bad.

v You have to be rigid i.e. being a principled individual.

Getting yourself accustomed to the above steps would go a long way to realizing your kind of personality and these would give no breathing space to the afore mentioned threats.

The dangers associated with not knowing who you are are;

v You won’t be able to maximize your potentials.

v You would continually lack direction in most of your ordeals.

v You loose focus easily.

v You won’t be able to decide on what you want for yourself or what you want to become in life.

v You loose confidence in yourself.

v You would always detach yourself from people with great potentials.

v You would lack vision.

v You would always find yourself following the crowd.

In conclusion, knowing who you are is highly essential and compulsory as only those who undergo or go through this stage of self discovery would find themselves climbing smoothly on the ladder of success to fulfilling their dreams.
