- They bear fruits at the right time. That is, they live a productive life.
- Their 'leaves' do not dry up, i.e. their source of production (inspiration, academic excellence, finance, energy, wisdom, knowledge e.t.c) never dries up.
- They succeed in everything they do.

THE TRUTH ABOUT GRATITUDE
Appreciating
a kind hearted person or being thankful for a gesture, help or assistance is
one major aspect of life some have ignorantly paid less attention to. The
Yoruba philosophy; “a person that appreciates the good deeds of today will
automatically receive another” is one aged long idea about gratitude but
surprisingly, it really does not work that way. There’s quite more to it.
The
truth is gratitude (saying “THANK YOU”) should not be bestowed only to man but
principally to God. He is the one who can use anyone to provide that want you
had longed for. Take for instance, when you were in daring need of that
admission into the high school, college or university; was it man you prayed to
or God? Now you understand better.
So,
why won’t you give Him the first Thank you, that solemn heart of gratitude or
that joyful heart of praise? He should be the first and anyone else can follow.
Again,
consider this scene in your mind; a prisoner who had being I detention for
close to twelve years praying to God for mercy suddenly regains his freedom.
What do you think would be the first sentence he would voice out? “Thank you
Lord”, I suppose.
So,
you see if a man who had been in long suffering can actually acknowledge God
first by saying “Thank you Lord”, then why would you who received at ease deny
God of that first heart of appreciation?
Here
is a brief description of the benefits associated to thanking God first:
G – GIVES YOU THE
R – RIGHT ROOM FOR
RETURNS
A – AND
T – TAKES/LEADS YOU
INTO
E – ENORMOUS/PLENTY
F – FRUITS FROM
U – UNIVERSAL
L - LEVELS
The
illustration above simply means; when you acknowledge God first for any
gesture, breakthrough, success, deliverance, assistance, it gives you the right
room for returns (i.e. you gain more of good tidings) and this would
automatically take or lead you into enormous or plenty fruits (i.e. you get or
receive more divine blessings) from universal levels (i.e. you get favoured
from all walks of life, either from the young or old).
Would
you rather say a BIG THANK YOU TO GOD TODAY?
