THE CLINICAL INSTRUMENT.

Achieving success in life is determined by so many factors and as it is, motivation is one of the key factors to realizing a successful life.

Motivation is a driving force that makes you to do something positive disregarding physical factors that might want to deprive you from achieving a set goal. Even the oxford dictionary defined motivation as ‘making somebody wants to do something especially something that involves hard work and effort’.

The driving force attached to motivation could be gotten in so many different ways:
  • 1.       It could come through your submission to God’s authority i.e. trusting in Him and putting Him first in all your doings.
  • 2.       It could come through associating yourself with people of great values who have achieved lots of great things in life. You could even adopt them as your role models or mentors.
  • 3.       It could also come through self confidence i.e. having the belief that you can do it, you can achieve it.
  • 4.       It could also come by reading mind lifting motivational writings from prolific writers.
  • 5.       It could also come by getting close to texts from the Holy book. Reason being that the daily confession of these inspirational texts from either the Bible or Quran could help towards guiding you to fulfilling your heart desires.
The essence of motivation is that it gets you focused to accomplishing the set goals you have highlighted and to achieving things of utmost priority in life. It also assists to guide you along the road to achieving success in those set goals of yours and also shapes your life aspirations to its full realization.

The detriments of lack of motivation in a life could bring about mediocrity in that person’s dealings. For instance, a person who is good at writing fiction stories and lacks motivation in this aspect might produce not well enough result with his ability.

WAYS TO GET SOMEONE MOTIVATED.

1.       Show love and attention to the individual.

2.       Use kind and encouraging words.

3.       Enhance close monitoring and supervision.

These would go a long way to getting an individual motivated because it makes the individual feel a sense of value.  Through this, hidden treasures, virtues, ideas, talents could begin to show up in the individual and your ability to back up the individual with these three (3) ways would not only save him, the nation but change the lives of the people around for the better.

Lastly, motivation yields success. Your ability to get it through the Most High God, self, family, friends, or mentors who are positive minded is a clinical instrument to accomplishing great ideas, dreams and most importantly, living a successful life.
